CE Questions

Stop by the Information desk to grab your pre-printed badge and a lanyard.

Volunteers will be scanning the QR code on your badge as you enter the room. This will track that you attended the workshop, and there will be a verification code presented at the end of each session to verify that you stayed for the whole presentation.

If you missed getting scanned or were scanned late, please accurately reflect your attendance on the live event evaluation. If your evaluation doesn’t match your badge scans, you will receive an email from cereporting@pesi.com with a link to an Affidavit for Attendance. Complete the short form testifying to your attendance, and if you indicate that changes are needed, we will email you with an updated CE certificate. If you don’t indicate on the form that changes are needed, your CE certificate will be available in your online account.

Yes! As an in-person attendee, you will have access to the virtual content for up to 14 days after the Couples Conference. You will only get live credit for those that you viewed live. Watching content on demand will not give you live credit.

To access the content, you can view the “All Sessions” section in the mobile app or Virtual Attendee Hub. You will need to complete a separate evaluation at the end of the event reflecting any workshops you attend live virtually.

As you attend sessions, you will be scanned in to verify attendance. The workshop codes verify that you attended the entire session. You will need to note these codes or take a photo for reference. The evaluation will include a line to enter the codes.

We will email each attendee a link to the evaluation for the live sessions after the event has ended. You will identify any of the sessions that you watched as they were occurring live, then evaluate the presentations to receive your CE certificate for those sessions. Click here for more CE details. If you attended sessions in person, you’ll need the workshop code you gathered, to verify attendance. Virtual attendance does not need workshop codes. If you attended some sessions in person and some sessions virtually, you would need to take two separate evaluations.

Because we have one set program throughout the conference and there aren’t separate breakout sessions, there is no need to add the program ahead of time to attend and view.

Onsite Questions

There is no official dress code; however, we recommend layers, as the workshop room can get chilly.

Upon downloading the PESI Events app, click ‘Allow’ when prompted to allow notifications. You can enable notifications by clicking the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right-hand corner of the app and toggle ‘Allow Notifications’ to ON.

  • There are no printers available to attendees. Printed handouts are not provided onsite.

If you wish to print out the materials, please do so prior to arriving. Session handouts are accessible by selecting ‘Handouts’ within the sessions in the Attendee Hub and mobile app.

If you’ve left something behind, please check with the Information Desk. At the end of each day, these are turned into the hotel’s security, so you’ll need to check at the front desk.

Wireless internet is available for free throughout the hotel and the meeting space.

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA has a bell desk that you can use to store your luggage.

The Couples Therapy Conference begins each day with coffee and tea provided outside the workshop room. For lunch, the Hyatt Regency has a market available or there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Virtual Questions

All you have to do is log in to your attendee hub and watch the session live. There is no event check-in. The Virtual Attendee Hub will open about a week ahead of the conference, at which time you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to login.

Your registration for Couples Therapy Conference will include access to the recordings for 14 days after the event has ended. You will need to watch the presentations that are being presented live to receive live credit. Archive recordings are usually available 1-2 hours after the live event ended. While registering for the event, the option to purchase unlimited access to the recordings is available for a special rate. Note that you cannot earn credit on both the self-study and the live versions of the recordings.

If you cannot make it to the live event, you can also purchase the Complete Recording Package for an additional $299.99 to receive unlimited access to the recordings. These recordings will be available about 4-6 weeks after the event. CE hours and approvals on products may differ from live CE approvals. Some credit approvals expire after a period of time and cannot be guaranteed for a lifetime. Since the self-study recordings include the same content as the live event, you cannot earn credit on both.

In the Virtual Attendee Hub, hover over the profile icon in the top right corner and click ‘Settings.’ Select the ‘Language and Time’ button and switch the time zone to ‘My device’s time zone.’

You will have access to chat with others and submit questions, but others will not be able to hear or see you during the presentations.

The Q&A feature will only be available for questions relating to the content. Due to the large volume of attendees, please check to see if someone has already posed the question you want answered. If you see questions you like, click the “thumbs up” under the question. Keep in mind that there will be a large attendance, and the speaker may only be able to answer a few questions. Not all sessions will contain Q&A.

Handouts can also be found within the Mobile App or Virtual Attendee Hub on each workshop’s page. We post everything a speaker sends. If there is no handout under that session, we have not received anything from the speaker. The Virtual Attendee Hub will open about a week ahead of the conference, at which time you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to login.

No, we do not have any capacity limits on our virtual workshops, so everyone who wants to attend a virtual presentation will have access to it.

Attendees can chat during sessions and are also able to message each other directly.

Technical Issues During Event
Mobile App Technical Assistance

The PESI events app requires iOS 17 and higher or Android 12 and higher. Kindle Fire and other devices that use the Amazon App Store are not supported.

Attendee Hub Technical Assistance (The Attendee Hub will open one week prior to Couples Therapy Conference)
  • Are you having trouble accessing the video? Follow these troubleshooting tips.
    • Please ensure your pop-up and/or adblockers are turned on during this event.
    • Be sure to utilize a compatible internet browser and an updated operating system. See below for information.
    • Restart your device.
    • If you are connected to a VPN, disconnect as it may interfere with the connection.
  • Refresh the screen and click play on the video screen.
    • Log out of the platform and log in again.
    • Check your internet connection. Ensure that you don’t have other applications or tabs open on your device. This can slow down your internet connection. Also ensure other devices aren’t using your internet connection.
    • Reduce the video quality by moving your mouse over the video player screen, hovering over the gear icon in the bottom right, and clicking Auto from the menu.
  • If you are unsure of what browser and/or operating system you are on, you can click on this link (Windows 10 may show as Windows NT 10.0).

Operating Systems

  • Ensure that whether you’re utilizing Windows or a Mac computer, it is updated to the latest version of the operating system.

Internet Browsers

  • The Attendee Hub website is compatible with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox Quantum, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.
  • Streaming requires a minimum of 10 Mbps of internet download speed to play without issue. Please click on this link to run a speed test to test your current Internet connection. If the speed test results are lower than 10 Mbps, you should contact your Internet Service Provider to troubleshoot.
    • A wired connection is more stable, if you can connect. If you are utilizing a wireless connection, be as close to the router as possible.

You can complete a connection speed test by clicking here: Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test. We recommend a wired internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download speed for the best viewing experience.
